Oregon City School District
Moss Campus Project

Compass Engineering is the Site Civil for the new Oregon City School District’s - Moss Campus Project. This new facility will have a 320,600 square foot building on a more than 50-acre site. Compass engineers developed site-grading plans for the new parking lot that will accommodate approximately 1,000 cars, and also perimeter roads and new athletic fields. On-site utilities were designed by Compass Engineering for storm collection and disposal, sanitary sewer laterals, and domestic and firewater facilities. In addition, plans are also being prepared for the improvements on SE Beavercreek Road, Glen Oak Road, a new public north-south collector, and the first segment of the new Meyers Road.

The Compass Engineering survey department topographically mapped the entire site, and prepared boundary surveys for acquired tracts. This site survey was used as the base for the land use applications, civil drawings, and architectural development.
The first phase of construction is currently in progress, while the freshman class continue to use the existing facilities. The Moss Campus Project is expected to be completed in 2003 with a student body of 2,100.
